The Necessities of Life

When everything felt as though it was falling apart, she began to give up on herself. She no longer felt that happiness was an option for her. She was so split inside that she did not know how to fathom the idea of being happy. She had dreams at one point, but those dreams were significantly defeated by demons. She felt as though life was granting her this new dark corner to run away and hide to, only to never come back. She did not know how to come back from this.
